Click for larger viewHave I mentioned lately how much I love my iMac? Nope, the novelty isn’t wearing off, the more I use it (which is daily) the more I love it, and how Leopard functions compared to Windows. This is a screenshot of EQ6 running in Fusion in Cohesion mode, which integrates the Windows toolbar with Leopards Dock. How totally cool is this?
The quilt is one I was working on for my other son, Chris. He would like this. I like it. Unfortunately, when I looked at the block pieces, I realized I don’t have the skill to piece this. Sigh..
But something on this order for him. Black and green.
I downloaded a free trial of a recipe software called, of all things, “YummySoup!” It’s incredible, the way it imports recipes from the web. I’ll be handing over my cash for a license, I really like it.
It’s warmed back up here, although not horribly, we still have the a/c on again after a blissful week without. Late yesterday afternoon once the blackberries were in the shade, we went out and strung a line across all the posts 5 feet off the ground, and Jim cut the tops off so they’re all uniform. Much better. Perhaps today we’ll even get the holes drilled and the cables run. I can’t mulch the beds until the plants are off the ground without killing them.
I did get one border done and sewn on Greg’s quilt yesterday. Nope, doesn’t make me like the quilt one bit more.
Oh speaking of things Mac… ITunes 8 with the new “Genius” feature… now that is just amazing. You can pick a song from your library, and the Genius will automatically build a playlist with similar songs, plus it will access the ITunes store, show you all the songs that you’re missing from that artist, and a list of songs that you might like that are similar as well. I found some favorite forgotten songs that way!
But we also need to go to Lowes and pick up supplies to make an asparagus bed, and more posts for the grapes… all coming very soon. We haven’t decided where they’re going yet either.
